Susanna Hall was the oldest child of the famous writer William Shakespeare and his wife Anne Hathaway. She was born in 1583 and grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon with her twins, Hamnet Shakespeare and Judith.

In 1607, Susanna married a kind doctor named John Hall. They had one daughter named Elizabeth, who was born in 1608. Elizabeth later married a man named Thomas Nash at the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Susanna lived until 1649 and passed away on July 11 of that year. She was buried in the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford, close to her parents. People remember her because she was part of the Shakespeare family and helped keep their home, New Place, safe for the family.
