The Big Boss
The Big Boss is a fun and exciting Hong Kong martial arts film from 1971. It was directed by Lo Wei and stars the famous actor Bruce Lee. This movie was very special because it was Bruce Lee’s first big lead role in a film.
Bruce Lee plays a character named Cheng Chao-an. He moves from China to Thailand to live with his family. In Thailand, he works at an ice factory and meets many friends, including Maria Yi, James Tien, Tony Liu, and Nora Miao. Everyone enjoyed watching Bruce Lee in this movie because of his great martial arts skills.
The film became very popular around the world. It made a lot of money and helped Bruce Lee become famous. People loved the movie so much that it was shown in many countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, and even in France.
Even though some parts of the story were a bit tricky, the movie is remembered for its fun fights and Bruce Lee’s amazing stunts. Today, The Big Boss is considered an important film in martial arts movie history.
