Trafalgar Square

Trafalgar Square is a famous public square in the heart of Central London, specifically in the City of Westminster. It is a lively place where people gather for fun events and celebrations.

In the middle of the square stands Nelson's Column, a tall monument with a statue of a brave leader on top. Around the base are four big bronze lions, which look very impressive. This column was built to remember a big sea battle where Britain won.

The square is surrounded by important buildings, such as the National Gallery, which has many beautiful paintings, and St Martin-in-the-Fields, a lovely church. Every year, a big Christmas tree from Norway is placed in the square, and it becomes a center for New Year's Eve celebrations.

Trafalgar Square is also a popular spot for street performers and special events, making it a wonderful place to visit in London.
