Usain Bolt was a very fast runner from Jamaica. People called him "Lightning Bolt" because he ran super fast, like a flash of lightning. He was the fastest runner in the world for many years.

Usain Bolt loved running races. He ran in big competitions called the Olympics and the World Championships. In these races, he would sprint really fast over distances of 100 metres and 200 metres.
