Xbox

Xbox is a fun brand of video gaming made by Microsoft. It makes special machines called consoles where you can play lots of exciting games.

Xbox started in the United States in November 2001 with the first console, called the original Xbox console. It was the first console made by an American company after another company stopped selling theirs in 1996. Since then, Xbox has made many popular consoles like the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and the latest ones, Xbox Series X and Series S.

Today, Xbox is not just about consoles. It also has online services like the Xbox network and Xbox Game Pass. These services let players download games, play with friends online, and even stream games right to their devices. The person in charge of Xbox is Asha Sharma, who started in February 2026 after Phil Spencer retired.

Xbox has many fun games that you can play on different devices. Most games from the older Xbox consoles can still be played on the new ones. This means you can enjoy your favorite old games on the latest systems. Xbox games are also available on computers, phones, and tablets through Xbox Cloud Gaming, so you can play wherever you are.

Xbox also makes special controllers to make gaming even more fun. The Xbox Adaptive Controller is a special design to help everyone enjoy gaming, no matter their abilities. It works with many different devices and makes sure everyone can play together.
