Senegal joined the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China. The games took place from August 8 to August 24, 2008. Many athletes from Senegal took part in different sports, showing their skills. This was an important event for the country, as it let them compete with athletes from around the world.
