Algeria took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics, held in Beijing, the capital city of China. The games lasted from August 8 to August 24, 2008. Many athletes from Algeria traveled to Beijing to compete in different sports. This was a special event where countries around the world came together to celebrate sports and friendship.
