Swiss athletes competed in many running and throwing events at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. In the Men's Marathon, Daniel Boltz finished in 55th place. Pascal Charriere came in 20th place in the Men's 50 km Walk, and Aldo Bertoldi did not finish that race.

On the women's side, Eva Gysling swam in the 50m and 100m backstroke but did not move past the heats. Nathalie Wunderlich swam in the 100m and 200m backstroke and the 200m individual medley. She reached the B-Final in the 200m backstroke, finishing 16th.
