At the 1992 Summer Olympics, fencing was one of the sports. There were eight fencing events. Men could compete in individual and team events with three weapons: the épée, foil, and sabre. Women only competed in foil events, both individual and team. Athletes from all over the world came together to compete in this beautiful sport.
