This list shows different groups of Baptists around the world. Baptists are a type of Christian church, and they have many different groups or organizations. These groups are called denominations, and they have names like associations, conferences, conventions, fellowships, and unions. Most information here comes from the World Baptist Alliance.

Even though many Baptist groups have a central organization to help them work together, Baptists often believe in a system called congregational polity. This means each church can make many of its own decisions, so some groups are only loosely connected to each other.

The Caribbean

In the Caribbean, there are several Baptist groups. In Barbados and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, there is the Spiritual Baptist. Cuba has two groups: the Baptist Convention of Eastern Cuba and the Baptist Convention of Western Cuba. Haiti has the Baptist Convention of Haiti and the Evangelical Baptist Mission of South Haiti. Jamaica has the Jamaica Baptist Union, and the Cayman Islands have the Cayman Baptist Association.

Baptist groups in North America have many different organizations. In Canada, there are groups like the Baptist General Conference of Canada and Canadian Baptist Ministries. Mexico has the National Baptist Convention of Mexico.

In the United States, there are many national groups such as the Alliance of Baptists, American Baptist Churches in the USA, and the Southern Baptist Convention. There are also state groups like the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Baptist General Association of Virginia. These groups work together in different ways to support their communities.

Baptists have many different groups all around the world. Some of these groups include the Baptist World Alliance, Independent Baptist, Independent Fundamental Baptist, New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist, Woman's Missionary Union, and Swedish Baptists. These groups work together in different ways, but each church usually makes its own decisions.
