Serbia and Montenegro at the 2006 Winter Olympics

Serbia and Montenegro took part in the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Turin, Italy. This event marked the final time a team representing both Montenegrin and Serbian athletes competed together at the Olympics. The Winter Olympics is a special sports event where athletes from around the world come to compete in winter sports like skiing and ice skating. This was an important moment because, after these games, Serbia and Montenegro would no longer compete as one team in future Olympic events.
Alpine skiing

Jelena Lolović represented Serbia and Montenegro in four of the five alpine skiing events. She achieved the team's best result, finishing 30th in the women's giant slalom.
Note: In the men's combined, run 1 is the downhill, and runs 2 and 3 are the slalom. In the women's combined, run 1 and 2 are the slalom, and run 3 the downhill.

Biathlon

Milenković competed in biathlon at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. He finished ahead of only three other competitors in each of his two races. This was his third Olympic sport, after he had already taken part in cycling and cross-country skiing.

Cross-country skiing

Both cross-country skiers from Serbia and Montenegro could not finish their races. Milenković stopped near the end of the 50 km race, and Kuzeljević stopped very early in the women's pursuit race.

Figure skating

One of the best results for the team from Serbia and Montenegro in Turin was from Trifun Živanović. He did not move on to the final part of the competition but finished in 26th place overall in the men's event.
