Angora Rabbits

Angora rabbits are special domestic rabbits known for their very long, soft fur. This fur is called Angora wool and is very gentle, like cashmere. People love to collect this wool by gently pulling it out or cutting it.

These rabbits likely began in Ankara, a city in Turkey, a long time ago. They became popular pets in France and later spread all over Europe. Today, Angora rabbits are kept for their lovely wool, which grows about 3 centimeters each month.

There are many kinds of Angora rabbits. Four main types are the English Angora, the French Angora, the Giant Angora, and the Satin Angora. Each type has its own special look and needs for care.

Angora rabbits need regular care to keep their fur tidy and healthy. Their wool can sometimes get tangled, so it is important to comb it often. These rabbits are loved for their soft fur and friendly nature.
