The Apostolic Palace

The Apostolic Palace is the special home of the Pope, who leads the Catholic Church. It is located in beautiful Vatican City. People also call it the Papal Palace, the Palace of the Vatican, or the Vatican Palace.

The palace was mostly built by Pope Sixtus V and has many important rooms. One famous room is the Sistine Chapel, known for its amazing paintings. There are also special offices, libraries, and museums inside the palace.

Visitors can tour some parts of the palace, like the Vatican Museums and the Vatican Library. These areas show wonderful art and history from around the world.

The palace has a big central courtyard and many rooms arranged around it. It is a very important place for the Pope and the Catholic Church.
