The Arno River
The Arno is a big and important river in Italy. It flows through the beautiful Tuscany region and helps the people who live nearby.
The Arno starts on Monte Falterona in the Apennines mountains. It flows through lovely cities like Florence and Pisa before reaching the Ligurian Sea. The river is about 241 kilometres (150 miles) long.
In Florence, you can see famous bridges like the Ponte Vecchio that cross the Arno. The river has been very important for Italy for many years, helping with water, farming, and even inspiring art.
