County Antrim
County Antrim is one of the six counties in Northern Ireland. It is part of the historic province of Ulster. The name comes from the town of Antrim, which means "lone ridge" in the Irish language.
County Antrim has many beautiful places. You can visit the Glens of Antrim, a group of lovely valleys. Another famous spot is the Giant's Causeway, a special group of rocks that looks like it was built by giants. It is a World Heritage Site. Near Bushmills, you can learn about whiskey, and Portrush is a fun seaside town.
Most of the city of Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, is in County Antrim. The county has many hills, especially along the coast. You can see amazing views at places like Fair Head. There are also many small towns and villages to explore.
County Antrim has many ways to travel. The biggest airport nearby is Belfast International Airport. There are also train stations and ports like Larne where boats go to Scotland.
People have lived in County Antrim for a very long time. There are old castles and special places like the Giant's Causeway to see. It is a place full of history and natural beauty.
