Darmstadt is a lovely city in Germany. It is found in a place called Hesse, not too far from a big city named Frankfurt am Main. About 160,000 people live here, making it a cozy but busy place.
Darmstadt is known as the “City of Science.” Many important science places, like the European Space Operations Centre, call Darmstadt home. People even found new elements here, like darmstadtium, named after the city!
