Easter Eggs

Easter eggs are pretty eggs that people use to celebrate Easter. Easter is a happy time for many people because it tells the story of Jesus coming back to life. During Easter, families color eggs in bright colors or buy chocolate eggs to share and enjoy.

People have used eggs for Easter for a very long time. The custom started with early Christians in Mesopotamia. They colored eggs red to remember Jesus. Over time, this tradition spread to many places, like Central Europe and Eastern Europe.

Eggs are a symbol of new life and beginnings. In many countries, children play games with Easter eggs, such as hiding them for an egg hunt. They also roll eggs down hills, which is fun and exciting.

Today, Easter eggs come in many forms. Some are made of chocolate, wrapped in colorful foil, while others are wooden or plastic filled with candy. No matter what they look like, Easter eggs bring joy to families during this special time.
