Jesus was a kind teacher who lived a very long time ago in a place called the Roman province of Judaea. Many people remember him today because he is very important in Christianity, which is a big religion that many people follow around the world.

Jesus shared many good lessons and stories, which people call parables. He had twelve special friends who helped him, called his apostles. People celebrate special days like his birthday at Christmas and another happy day called Easter Sunday.

The name Jesus means “God saves.” People have called him “Jesus Christ” for a long time. The word “Christ” is a special title meaning someone very important who was expected to come.

Many people learn about Jesus from books called the gospels. These books tell about his life, his teachings, and the good things he did. Even though many years have passed, Jesus is still remembered, and his messages of love and kindness continue to inspire people everywhere.
