The Four Corners

The Four Corners is a very special place in the Southwestern United States. It is the only spot in the United States where four states meet at one point! These states are Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico.

There is a special marker called the Four Corners Monument that shows where these four states meet. Many people visit this place to see where the borders come together. The area around the Four Corners is home to many Native American nations, including the large Navajo Nation.

The Four Corners is part of a big, dry, and beautiful area called the Colorado Plateau. It has many lovely natural places to explore, such as Mesa Verde National Park and Monument Valley. The biggest town nearby is Farmington in New Mexico.
