Gir National Park

Gir National Park is a special place in Gujarat, India, where many animals live safely. It was created in 1965 to protect the animals and plants. One of the most famous animals here is the Asiatic lion. These lions only live in this area, making Gir National Park very important.

The park has many kinds of plants and trees, like teak and acacia. There are also lots of birds, reptiles, and insects. You can see animals such as chital, nilgai, and wild boar walking around.

Gir National Park has rivers that flow all year, helping the plants and animals stay healthy. During the rainy season, from June to October, the park closes to keep everyone safe.

People work hard to take care of Gir National Park. They count the lions every five years to make sure they are healthy and growing. This park is a wonderful place to learn about nature and animals.
