Henan: A Big Place in China
Henan is a province in the middle of China. It is a very busy place with lots of people—over 99 million! That makes it one of the busiest parts of China.
Old and New
Henan has a very long history. Four important old capitals are here: Luoyang, Anyang, Kaifeng, and Zhengzhou. People have lived here for thousands of years. Long ago, it was a place where many cultures grew and shared ideas.
Nature and Land
Henan has different kinds of land. In the east, it is flat like a big field. In the west, there are hills and mountains. The Yellow River flows through Henan. This river is very important because it helps with farming and gives water to many people.
Working Together
Henan is good at making things and growing food. It has many factories and farms. People work hard to grow crops and build products. The land is rich, and the weather helps the farms stay busy.
Learning and Growing
Henan has many schools and colleges. It is a place where people go to learn and discover new things. Three cities, Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, and Xinxiang, are special because they do important research and teach many students.
Henan is a wonderful place full of history, nature, and busy people working together. It is one of the most important parts of China.
