Jerusalem

Jerusalem is one of the oldest cities in the world. It is located in the Southern Levant between the Mediterranean Sea and the Dead Sea. The city is very special for three major religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Many people visit Jerusalem to see important places for these religions.

The city has grown a lot over many years. Today, the Old City is divided into four parts: Armenian, Christian, Jewish, and Muslim quarters. In 1981, Jerusalem became a World Heritage Site.

Jerusalem is known for its history and its special meaning to many people. It is a busy city with lots of visitors, schools, and places to learn. The city has many universities, like the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Al-Quds University.

People in Jerusalem enjoy many activities. They can visit the Israel Museum, which has amazing things like the Dead Sea scrolls. There are also theatres, music shows, and sports teams like Beitar Jerusalem Football Club. Every year, a big Jerusalem Marathon happens, and people from all over the world come to run.

Jerusalem is a city full of history, culture, and important places. It is loved by many and visited by people from everywhere.
