Livestock are animals that people raise on farms to help us. They give us food like meat, eggs, and milk. We also get things like wool and leather from them. Common livestock include cattle, sheep, and goats.

People have been raising livestock for thousands of years. It started when people began farming instead of just hunting. Today, many farms have special ways to care for their animals.
Livestock are very important for our world. They help many jobs, like food processing and farming. They also give us products we use every day. Animals like cows can even help keep soil healthy with their manure.
But taking care of livestock can also affect our planet. It uses a lot of water and land. Some ways of farming can hurt plants and animals. People are working to find better ways to care for livestock and the Earth at the same time.
Livestock include many types of animals, such as:
- Horse - Used for riding and work

Different animals are raised in different places around the world. Some animals live in big open areas, while others stay in buildings. Farmers work hard to keep their livestock healthy and safe.
