Mike McCarthy

Mike McCarthy is a coach for football. He is the head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League, called the NFL. Before this, he coached the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers.

Mike was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He grew up in a neighborhood called Greenfield. His mom worked in offices and restaurants. His dad was a firefighter and police officer. Mike has three sisters and one brother. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers when he was young.

In 2011, Mike helped the Green Bay Packers win the Super Bowl XLV. That was a big moment for the team and for Mike as a coach. He has also worked with many famous players and teams, like the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints.

Mike and his wife Jessica like to help others. They started a charity called the McCarthy Family Foundation. This helps children’s hospitals and gives money to police officers for safety gear. Mike also holds a golf tournament to raise money for a children’s hospital. Their work helps many people in need.
