Welcome to Norfolk
Norfolk is a lovely county in England. It is found in the East of England region. The big city here is Norwich. Norfolk has many green fields and beautiful places to visit.
Places to Explore
Norfolk touches many interesting areas. To the north and east is the North Sea. To the northwest is The Wash, and to the west is Cambridgeshire. To the south, you will find Suffolk.
Natural Beauty
The land in Norfolk changes a lot. In the middle, there are gentle rolling hills. To the east, you can find the northern half of the Broads, which are rivers and lakes. In the west, part of the Fens lies, and to the south is Thetford Forest.
Fun Things to Do
Norfolk is a great place for visitors. You can enjoy beautiful beaches at places like Great Yarmouth and Cromer. The area also has special natural places, such as the Broads and the Norfolk Coast AONB, where many birds live.
You can visit the home of Charles III at Sandringham House. There are also many fun places to explore, like zoos and adventure parks. Some of these include:

- Holkham Hall has grand gardens and a play area.

Famous People
Norfolk has been home to many famous people. George VI, the king and emperor of the United Kingdom, lived on the Sandringham estate. Singer James Blunt and actress Olivia Colman also grew up there.
Travel in Norfolk
Norfolk does not have a motorway, but you can drive on roads like the A11 to reach London. The Great Eastern Main Line and the Fen line are railway lines that connect Norfolk to London.
