What is ASEAN?
ASEAN is a group of 11 countries in Southeast Asia. These countries work together to help each other grow, stay safe, and follow important rules. ASEAN started in 1967 with five countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Later, more countries joined.
