Dutch is a special language that many people speak. It is mostly used in two places: the Netherlands and a part of Belgium called Flanders. About 25 million people speak Dutch as their first language.

You can hear Dutch in the Netherlands, which is a country in Europe. It is also spoken in Flanders, a region in Belgium. Dutch used to be an official language in South Africa, where it slowly changed and became a new language called Afrikaans. Today, Dutch is still spoken in Suriname, a country in South America. It is also used in some beautiful Caribbean islands like Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten.
