The National Mall

The National Mall is a big, beautiful park in Washington, D.C., the capital city of the United States. It is a lovely place where people can walk, relax, and see many important spots.

The Mall has many famous places to visit, like the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Jefferson Memorial. There are also many museums where you can learn about science, history, and art. Some of these museums are part of the Smithsonian Institution.

The park was designed a long time ago to be a open space for everyone. It stretches from the United States Capitol to the west toward the Washington Monument. The National Park Service takes care of the Mall to keep it beautiful for visitors.

People love to visit the National Mall because it has so many interesting things to see and do. You can enjoy the green spaces, visit important memorials, and explore wonderful museums. It is a special place that belongs to all Americans and visitors from around the world.
