Quintana Roo

Quintana Roo is one of the 31 states of Mexico. It is located on the beautiful eastern part of the Yucatán Peninsula. The capital city is Chetumal, and the state has 11 municipalities.

Quintana Roo has a wonderful coastline along the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. Many people love to visit places like Cancún, the islands of Cozumel and Isla Mujeres, and towns such as Playa del Carmen and Akumal. You can also see amazing old buildings made by the Maya people, like Tulum and Xcaret.

The area is warm and sunny most of the year, with lots of green forests and colorful coral reefs in the sea. Birds from many places come to visit, making it a great spot for nature lovers. The Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve is a special place where plants and animals live safely.

Quintana Roo is known for its beautiful beaches, exciting tourism, and rich history. It is a wonderful place to explore and learn about the past while enjoying the sunshine and sea!
